This is a great example. of the 48 Cayman. We purchased this boat for the current owners a few years ago from the original owner who spec'd and built the boat,

Originally a Cat 3176 boat it was repowered by Cat with the updated 660hp 3196 engine in 2005 that now have only 800 hours.

Built using the Egg Harbor hull mold, most of the vessel was built overseas, but was finished in the U.S.  

The layout is very accommodates  6 with two staterooms, and a convertible sofa to bed in the salon.

  • Solid fiberglass hull
  • Molded fiberglass flybridge.
  • Deck assembly is molded fiberglass with glass over marine plywood cabin
  • Teak woodwork, interior and exterior
  • All built in Taiwan, China, using the Egg Harbor hull mold
  • Sea cocks are quarter-turn bronze ball valves
  • The bare boat was shipped to Norfolk, VA, and driven to Stevensville, MD, to be custom finished with the current owner as general contractor, from SS exterior rails, all electronics, upgraded EZ2CY flybridge enclosure, upholstered cushions throughout, etc.

  • Master stateroom is in forward cabin with center-line double berth, 2 hanging lockers aft, port and starboard. Shelves and lockers outboard and under berth, wall-mounted TV on aft bulkhead. Master has a full head with stall shower
